Basement

Our basement has always been dark and depressing to me.  So this winter I finally painted it!  We still have more work to do on it but I wanted to share some pictures.

This is by the garage door and laundry area.  I'm so excited because all of my stuff from India fits up there.  The items were originally in my grandparents house.  There is a matching bench underneath where the girls can store their shoes.

My Aunt Paula and Uncle Vijay gave this piece to me.

Here is Jody's new TV

Audrey found this pinkish purple paint and was dying to put it somewhere.  So I added it to the trim outside of their doll area (which is under the stairs)

We are working on shelves.  The girls each got to pick out a color to paint the shelves.  I can't wait for it to be done.

Needles to say I'm a real estates agents nightmare.  I love color.  I can't live without out it.  I started painting Jody's man cave in Raiders colors.  I felt slightly bad after all the pick in the basement.  After that it's the last room and I'm honestly sad and wonder how long I can go without repainting something.  I used to consult Jody on all of my colors but after noticing how hesitate he was I just started buying the paint and painting the walls.  So far there is nothing he hates and loves most of it.  I guess I'm lucky he doesn't mind that I do it.
